Renovation of Dumartalab School:

Located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Dumartalab School was taken under the care of the Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan, which successfully completed its renovation process. The primary goal of this initiative was to improve the quality of education and provide students with a healthy, enriching, and inspiring environment where they could receive better education. As a result of these efforts, the school became known as a "Happy School" and it became the first Happy School in District 3261.

Building Reconstruction:

The classrooms, which were in a dilapidated condition (with leaking roofs, damp walls, and no seating arrangements), were completely renovated. Fans were installed in the classrooms to provide relief to students during the heat. Additionally, clean and accessible toilets were constructed. The school walls were painted and decorated, making them attractive and inspiring, thereby boosting the morale of the students.

Healthy Environment:

Special efforts have been made to keep the school campus green and clean. This not only promotes the physical health of the children but is also beneficial for their mental well-being.

Playground: To support the overall development of the students, sports and physical activities have been given priority. The Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan has created a basketball ground for the children, and shoes and uniforms have been distributed to the students to encourage their participation in physical activities.

Computer Facilities: For the mental development of the students, the club has provided state-of-the-art computer facilities in the school. These facilities enable children to develop a deeper understanding of their subjects and enhance their analytical skills.

In this way, the Rotary Club of Raipur has made a significant contribution to improving the level of education in society. The renovation of Dumartalab Government Primary School by the Rotary Club has not only improved the standard of education but has also motivated students to participate in other developmental activities.
