DP Ward Building Construction:

In 2012, the Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan took a significant step towards improving healthcare accessibility by constructing the DP Ward Building in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The primary goal of this project was to provide affordable and convenient accommodation for patients and their families, particularly those traveling from distant areas and other states. This initiative ensures that individuals from both rural and urban areas have easier access to medical treatment without the added burden of accommodation challenges.

The total cost of the DP Ward project was approximately ₹1.1 crore, with the dedicated involvement of 50 Rotarians, who worked together to bring this vision to life. To date, over 1,000 beneficiaries have benefited from this facility, which continues to provide a safe and comfortable space for patients and their families. By offering these essential services, the Rotary Club has made a notable contribution to the healthcare infrastructure of the region, enhancing the well-being of society at large.
